McQuay Verona plant manufactures chillers for 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar
The chiller contract is estimated at over $3 million. The chillers will cool 12 housing complexes in the Olympic Village, a total of over 1.8 million square feet, and will house over 10,500 people during the Games. After the Games, the complex will be converted to the Hamad Medical Center, and will include pediatrics and orthopedics hospitals, a physical therapy unit, rehabilitation center, and elderly welfare center.
